Esteban Lopez, a native New Yorker known by his clients as "Steven," is a respected "Style Maker" among New York's interior design community and has quickly made his mark in San Diego, California. Esteban began his journey in interior design studying landscape architecture and fine arts. After completing his studies and working with some of New York's well known landscape and design firms, he soon realized that his true passion for interiors had emerged. He founded Implements Design Group in 1998.

While managing a thriving business in New York, Steven and his partner, James Niebling, decided to relocate to San Diego in the fall of 2003. The incredible weather and friendly clientele have cemented the decision to expand “Esteban Interiors.” He has found a community that is refreshing and untapped in potential. Esteban is also one of the founding members of The Art and Design District in Little Italy, San Diego, California. In 2005 Esteban joined forces with James in Arthur Kay, Inc., opened a showroom and gained additional support for clients. In August of 2007 Esteban and James relocated their design showroom and gallery to La Jolla's Design District on Girard Avenue.
